Preschool Program

Leah McNally
Preschool Director
ECE Certificate, Canada College, Studied Fine Arts, San Francisco State University. Leah has taught at the Chrysalis Preschool in Menlo Park, and with Gymboree. She is a creative and talented artist, & is a dedicated teacher and Preschool Program Director.

Sylvia Wuensche -Wienands
Preschool Teacher
Sylvia has a Masters in Education from British Columbia. She is dedicated to her class, and to the arts, and is head teacher of the 3 year old preschool class.

Sandra Morales
Preschool
Sandra has been an advocate & teacher in preschools for many years. She has been instrumental in the development of our young children's program at Kollage.

Music
Hector Armienta - Music Director
Resident in Music
Hector has been with Kollage for 8 years and has been instrumental in designing the Music for Learning Curriculum. He is an accomplished composer having received his Masters from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He is currenly working on his second opera La Rondia to play at Yerba Buena.

Tracy Welsh
Resident in Music
Tracy is an exciting and dynamic musician firmly committed to the art of teaching. Tracy is a multi instrumentalist, singer/songwriter who has traveled the world as a working musician and teacher. Born in Philadelphia PA and schooled at New York University, Tracy delights in brings diverse musical influences together in an accessible and fun manner. Tracy has been teaching for ten years now and also plays professionally with the North African music ensemble, Hamsa Lila.

Jan Lord
Drawing & Painting
Jan has her BS in Art & Elementary Education. She is an accomplished painter, musician, and educator. She is also a certified elementary school teacher. Jan taught in Idaho & Montana before coming to Kollage.

Dance and Drama
Tim Kuster
Resident in Dance and Drama
Timothy Kuster, known to his students as MR. TIM, has offered children exposure to the arts and postive performance opportunities for several years throughout California. He was trained in the method, philosophy and curriculum of children's dance by acclaimed child educator, Cynthia Merrill. After moving to Los Angeles he opened and directed the KIDD STREET School of Performing Arts for 8 years, and developed a whole new method for teaching theater and dance to children. Currently in the bay area, he has further developed his arts curriculum to include arts integration and focuses heavily on the multiple intellegences. MR. TIM is dedicated to providing children with positive morals and creative inspiration as they explore the arts or train as future artists.

Disa L Ward
Theater, Choir, and Movement for children ages 2-14.
Along with teaching at Kollage, Disa most recently directed a piece for Notre Dame de Namur University's Labor Day Theatre Festival. Disa made her directorial debute in the spring of 2000 with A.R. Gueney's "The Problem". While completing her Bachelors degree, she preformed in many roles including: Angelica in The Rover, Rebecca In Rags, Wong the Water Seller in Good Women of Sechuan, Daisy and the Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol, and Nancy in Oliver. She was nominated for two Irene Ryan Awards for acting at the annual American Collage Theatre Festival and recieved the "Performance Award" in 2000 from NDNU before graduating.
